Corpsemaker ivy:
This plant protects itself with a powerful poison condensed into just a few of its leaves, rendering them useless for photosynthesis and purple in color. Eat the green bits with care!
Even when he was small enough to fit into a grown mirror's mouth, his fearless wandering lead him to Moondust's Laboratory of (doomy) Doom. She was wild and strange and liked enough to call him a Little Cyborg. Since nobody else called him a special name, he found himself reading her books with her Arcane Sprite and another little dragon. Unlike her, most everything was confusing at best, so he helped out in other ways, sweeping the floors with his ears and other things he was told to do. Maybe he misunderstood. Maybe he was just so near the floor.
One day he'll be bigger. Then he'll show them. That he's bigger.
sigh.
Well, he'll show them. Yeah.

Corpsemaker was always willing to go to extreme lengths to impress his mentor. He even went so far as to become a test subject in the interest of SCIENCE. She actually batted an eye for him; he has no regrets.
