a leader not by choice, but he was forced into the role by the death of the last leader during a war - in his hallucinogenic state he declared destiny the ruler, as was decided by the deities themselves, that he would lead them to glory and rebuild everything they lost in their war.

slowly over time he became less human and more like a machine, automated and emotionless. some think that his soul has withered away, or been replaced with another entity entirely.
