Brume

Brume is Brush's mate and she is the source of his high rank in the clan. He's not an arrogant dragon at all, however, and he's deeply aware that his privileged position in the social structure is due to her.

But that's fine with him. He's a personable, easygoing dragon, well suited to life in a wind clan. He has a great memory for names, faces, and personal details, so he serves as a great social counterbalance to his mate and helps bridge the gap that sometimes opens up between her and other dragons due to her flightiness regarding the details of their lives.

His personal interest is in astrology. He loves drawing star charts and dabbles in predicting the future through auguries and astrological events. Sometimes he even makes accurate predictions. He's a night owl and very often active during the latest and earliest hours of the darkness, so his closest social group tends to fall in with other nocturnal dragons such as Vespertine, Susurrous, and Mimidae. He chats about all kinds of things with Vespertine and Susurrous, revealing a more gossipy side to his personality (he'd never be malicious about it, but he loves juicy gossip and has an extensive idea of what's going on in the lives of some dragons that he barely knows personally), and with Mimidae he simply enjoys the quiet but playful company of a dragon of his species.

He also loves to eat, so he's a constant guest in Hakawai's lair.
