Andromeda may seem gloomy, introverted, and standoffish from the outside, but that all changes when she steps onstage. A master of both the choral and operatic stages, Andromeda has the uncanny ability to play any role handed her way, be it evil witch, wizened mother, or amorous young man. She joined the Junidecem quartet out of a desire to see how far she could take her choral training, given that she had already surmounted all the operatic roles she wished to inhabit. She’s not the most enthusiastic teacher of the group, but when she does step into that role she’s known for her dark humor and bone-dry wit, often encouraging those who may find singing a bit silly at first. When not on the road with Junidecem, she’s usually found holed up in her den, politely refusing visits from everyone and engrossing herself in novels, recordings, and macabre crafts such as taxidermy and insect preservation. |
