The Dreamer

Since young, Dio had troubles with sleeping and often takes naps of 2 to 3 hours to make up for the lack of sleep he gets at night.

He has unnaturally light, yellow eyes for someone whose parents did not possess. He often spoke how he kept seeing little glowing creatures at night, until he one day decided to follow them out of his room through the window. He reached upon a tiny dried up pond with a single white flower laid inside of it, and the creatures he saw took the form of fishes of all kinds and shapes. Mesmerized, he watched them dance in air of the deepest nights.

As the years have passed, he never failed to visit the pond once. The fishes became his companions, caressing his cheeks with untouchable fins resembling the finest of silks, absorbing droplets of confusion, frustration and melancholy. The more he cried at the pond, the more the pond started to fill up, and the area around the very edges started to grow the same flower when he first found this little place he calls his own.
