The Lady of the West Wind

Zephyra's egg was found on the western side of the continent, settled near the territory of the Windsinger. She hatched in Bane's arms, her first sight being that of a wonderstruck, and perhaps slightly nostalgic, grey-and-white face of the Ridgeback. Bane, knowing that at this point it was far too late to find the little Fae's parents, took her home to the fiery lands of the Flamecaller. Bane has become the little creature's foster mother, and despite the Ridgeback's non-coddling-type of personality, she has a tender spot for the little one, perhaps being that Zephyra is the first Lightning dragon that she has ever come to be familiar with in the Ashfall Wastes.

When it came time for Zephyra to reach inside herself to find her power, she felt that something was missing. Her voice wasn't powerful enough, she couldn't put the emotions she so longed for into it, the emotion that she needed to bend the storm to her will. She sensed her path, however, felt what her spirit belonged in... So, with a simple and precisely put request, Bane permitted her to obtain the scroll to become a Skydancer.

Zephyra seems to possess raw abilities of the storm that can only grow stronger with practice; her emotions themselves seem to be able to fiddle with the weather. She channels her inner power through her flourish jewelry, the large stones storing and sending out bolts of electricity when she so wills.
