An exceptionally strict individual. She speaks with a brusque and curt tone to many of those ranked below her. Though Cassiopeia's clan is a group of equals, it is agreed that in the areas of defense and magic, there must be at least one person in charge of each to keep order. Alcyone is often quick to remind everyone of that.
Above all else, the puts the needs of the clan before herself, and vowed at a young age to protect the clan - or die trying. She grew up alone as an orphan, until she was brought in as a young adult into the clan. The intense loyalty she possessed made her the best choice to lead the clan's defense.
This often puts her in a position where she would forget to care for herself at times, trying to handle the needs of the other scouting dragons. Because of this, she tends to make more visits to the clan's healers due to negligence. However, over time, she has developed one of the strongest immune systems of the clan. Not many others are willing to have such an accomplishment, since the only times she does happen to get sick are from illnesses that could easily kill.
To relax, she enjoys listening and watching the artistic efforts of her fellow clan members. Alcyone herself enjoys singing, but don't tell the others.
