 It's not surprising that Clan Perfect's giant glitzy tower makes them a landmark for nomadic clans. In their earlier days, the homebound coatls made an unlikely alliance with the roaming Passus Canorous clan, which perseveres to this day. And due to this friendship, curious cases like Cerridwen show up. As her home clan passed out of Wind-aligned territories into brighter spaces, the pink coatl was thrown into a full-grown panic. Leave Windsinger? Throw away all her efforts in vain to some other deity? The thought was too much to bear for the obsessed Cerridwen, who jumped into the waiting arms of a poorly-constructed, glittery lair. Lucky for her, her pink fur earned her immediate respect among the snootier of her colleagues, and her skillful work in the field of alchemy won the hearts of her less shallow friends. But life in Clan Perfect, even in the competent House of the Crown, soon challenged her zeal and devotion. Despite being a fellow wind-clan, the customs of her new home were alien and... rather unhinged. Even with her constant preaching, her colleagues still praise "Bagpipes Big Guy", and their "exalted" dragons are simply tied to balloons and sent off. (This probably explains the large number of snappers commonly found grazing about the foot of the tower, deflated balloons tied to their torsos.) Cerridwen is tired of these behaviors, but she's working her hardest to try to convert everyone into a hard-working clan her deity would approve of. And ironically enough, the goofy antics of her clan are slowly softening the coatl's serious edge to her zeal, bringing her closer to her beloved Windsinger and his laid-back attitude. While she's known as a bit of a loud-mouth and a know-it-all, Cerridwen enjoys friendships with many dragons across the clan. She is a trusted friend of Ace, and often visits Corruption and Crimson to share alchemical and magical secrets. She also acts as a sort of greeter for dragons coming from the Passus Canorous clan, and helps them adjust to the rather abrupt change into their new home. She has no plans to find a mate, though she is getting rather sick of the amount of offers she's getting. In honor of the 2017 festival, Cerridwen dyed herself green. |
