Biography
Don't let that prissy demeanor fool you; Aegis is the hot-blooded second-in-command of Avalar.
He was found alone as a hatchling, the fate of his parents unknown. Lucy and Tenebris adopted him into their clan, becoming the very first resident of Avalar. He regards his leaders with undying loyalty, and fiercely confronts anyone who dares to oppose them.
He takes great pride in his appearance, and can often be seen grooming himself. Many dragons chide him for his vanity, but Aegis sees it as keeping a respectable appearance for his Flight. May the Lightweaver have mercy if you dirty his feathers.
Aegis is also the unofficial babysitter; looking after the hatchlings of various parents throughout the lair. They seem to like him, and Aegis himself has a soft spot for those who have been abandoned or are otherwise alone. It's not uncommon for hatchlings to sing praise of "Uncle Aegis".
