Charene is a charming yet volatile young Nocturne with big aspirations. Despite being the first born child of a quaint and sequestered family, her interest in battle tactics and the encroaching danger of local Beastclans saw her seeking out the teachings of vicious clan elder, Quila. Her requests to learn the ways of warfare were initially dismissed, but Charene's persistence soon won the judgemental Wildlclaw over.

She spent several seasons under Quila's grudging tutelage, eager to please and learn. Her dedication was admirable, but Charene quickly discovered that her small size was not suited for the brawls that her mentor regularly trained her in. She did however find that she was adept at finding weaknesses in her opponents. She specialised her training, focussing on observation and sabotage. She developed herself into a ruthless tactician.

After deciding to sell her skills out to clans on the front lines of the Beast Clan wars, she travelled to the fringes of the Scarred Wasteland, seeking camaraderie and a new home.
