Biography
Reaper, Clan Guardian
Nickname(s): N/A
Mate: Nightglare
Family: None
Reaper is a loyal protector of the clan Sky had made, being one of the first dragons to ever encounter and stay within the walls of the lair. Reaper, as a guardian dragon, was destined to protect something in his life, and found that out to be his clan, that he's loved since the beginning of it all. Reaper is a tought and brave soul, and will protect his clan til his last breath.
As a hatchling, Reaper already knew what his destiny was, to protect something he knew and love. He already protected his parents, Murron and Mesocylone, and his siblings, Pitch and a dragon that went unnamed. During the nights, he snuck off to the Starwood strand and practice his strength against the many trees decorating the coast line, leaving dents and scratches in them, but left bigger and better bruises in the sides as he grew stronger. As he had been training, he encountered the dazzling lights in the sky - stars - and became enamored with them and sought to stargaze instead of train from then on. But, soon after, he began to visit the shimmering area less and less, knowing that his clan-mates were talking about what they should do to him, and possibly exalt him, but Reaper had better plans. He pledged his life to any clan they would give him to or would step up to obtain him, and thus led him to finding Sky's clan and protecting it from then on, as Sky sought someone to protect her clan with their life and soul. Sky thanks Reaper for his honorable task almost every day, as it is fate for a guardian to protect something, but Sky's clan in particular was something beautiful, at least to a fae like her. Sky noticed that during the first few days of Reaper staying within her clan that he would fly off in the middle of the night for reasons unknown to her at the time. Once Sky actually got the bravery to ask, she was extremely eager to actually go with him- to the Starwood strand. That night triggered an event that would only continue on and on. Sky and Reaper landed in the Starwood strand and went to stargazing, enjoying the sights and sounds of the dazzling shoreline they stood upon. Reaper keeps their midnight journeys a secret to all of the other clanners, so whenever Sky cracks a joke or two, none of the others get it besides the duo. It turned into an inside joke between them, and only Sky truely knows the softer side to Reaper, as he's a brute and acts tough around the others. This simple yet stunning occurence led Sky to truely know the beauty of all the other regions surrounding the Viridian Labyrinth, and would ask to fly with Reaper to explore them. As they flew, they would come across abandoned, lost, orphaned, and even dragons being auctioned off in the area. This led Sky to venture more and allow these dragons to find shelter within her lair, making the clan expand larger and larger, as it wasn't just her and Reaper anymore. Reaper had a much larger pack to protect, but was sworn to his oath until the end of his clan's days. |
