Biography
Gross diseased cuddly nerd that takes care of familiars and all sorts of little (and big) critters.
Byssius is a prime example of the saying "don't judge a book by its cover". He's big, he's scary-looking, and quite frankly a little gross with all the wounds, slime, extra mouths and whatnot. But in truth, he's probably just about the biggest and softest sweetheart in a 50 mile radius. Not that being nicer than the others is a difficult feat to achieve in Plague territory, the Order of the Colossus included, but Byssius' isn't simply "nice". If someone needs help or support, he'll bend over backwards and do everything in his power to help the other out, no matter if dragon or beastclan, friend or foe. He had to be reminded more than once that he's not supposed to assist the opposing side in a battle or war.
Needless to say, he's not an avid supporter of the concept. The Order has tried more than once to get him to pick up a weapon and some armor to use in combat, but Byssius will have none of it. Confrontations of any kind simply are not for him.
And as bad as it is to have to forfeit such a big potential source of prowess in the battlefield, Byssius makes up for it in other areas of the Order's day to day life.
He loves creatures of all shapes and sizes, so it would only make sense for Byssius to work with them: and so he became the clan's familiar caretaker.
It is clear that the familiars love him too, always flocking to him when he's around - even if he drips a bit of goo on them sometimes. Don't worry, he's not contagious.
THE CARRION CROW - The Month of Contagion (LAST WEEK IN OCTOBER THRU PENULTIMATE WEEK IN NOVEMBER)
Symbol of the necessity of the Plaguebringer as death in the cycles of life, and an image of survival in the harshest conditions. The Carrion Crow is simply depicted as a jet black crow.
Can be… Independent, strong-willed, expansive, unstoppable
But also can be… Explosive, dangerous, inscrutable
faceted, multi-gaze
Scattered twice. Turned from yellow-blue to pink-something, and is now green-orange. (don't remember the exact colors)
Non-exalted offspring:
--up to Rosegarden--
