Foston - Cavern Guide Valiant | Protective | Friendly  Foston came from a different lair, where his mother still resides. Not long after Foston's hatching did his father send off to fight under the Shadowbinder. Foston had always strived to do the same, and from a young age he had made it his life goal to server his flight just as his father did. However Foston never did get to see these dreams come to fruition. Just as he had begun to reach the age of maturity, Foston suffered a sever swipe to the face from a Sickle Kamaitachi, causing him to lose his sight. Devastated and fearful that he could no longer server under the Shadowbinder, Foston abandoned his home lair. After aimlessly wandering with no new plan in sight, Foston joined his current lair, albeit small at the time, and now still resides here at where he now calls home. As time went on and the lair grew, the lair often had to move to accommodate more space. Many of Foston's lair mates made sure as to not leave him behind and made sure he was able to find the new lair with little trouble. The latest expansion has placed the lair deep underground in a series of caverns and caves. With a few weeks of minor struggles, and a few rescue parties, Foston has memorized the layout of the cave system better than any other lair mates. Foston has since made it his duty to guide new dragons and hatchlings alike to the lair. Unable to see, the darkness of the caves does not unnerve him like other dragons. But to bring comfort to the newcomers, Foston wears a small silver bauble on his tail, which can be clearly seen from far distances as a calming blue light in the shadow covered caves. Being the first member of the clan many new dragons meet, Foston also has taken to wearing his cowl in order to hide many of the scars from his training days, as to not deter others from joining. |
