Viscera hatched deep within the Abiding Boneyard, tiny and small, the little skinless had no chance of survival. Her clan leaving her to live or die as the Plaguebringer saw fit, hoping it would force her to grow strong and cold.

The clotted blood that covers her skinless body, protecting and washing out infection from the exposed muscles, bones and nerves, was what could have ended her young life; the scent of blood in the Scarred Wastland is nothing more then the dinner bell ringing, and very few abandoned skinlesses survive past their first night.

Yet, someone or something was smiling down on a young Viscera; the scent of her clotted blood and cries of distress drew that attention of a brutal plague dragon, Tarn.

Years ago, Tarn would have slaughtered the hatchling, devouring the meat in a hungered frenzy, in a kind of desperation that came from only those who were starving. Yet, when little Viscera was found, Tarn was a changed dragon. Still cold and deadly, his heart softened by his mate Daenarys and his protective clan.

It had been that moment of softness, when Tarn had found the skinless, and after a brief moment of decision, Tarn took Viscera home to the Ashfall Waste, where he and Daenarys raised the skinless as their own.

Growing up with Onslaught's youngest daughter, and her best friend Wisp, Viscera was doted upon by the whole clan, loved by all who met her. Especially Daenerys, who taught Viscera that value of kindness and mercy and love; treating the hatchling as one of her own, and for that Viscera loves her like her own dam.

Tarn as well shows Viscera far more affection then many of the other hatchlings in their clan, seeing the strength she possesses to even have survived as long as she had unattended. Still, when ever Tarn looks at her, even when she was fully grown, he still sees that helpless, tiny little skinless hatchling that he saved.

Unable to bare the thought of her ever being helpless again, Tarn did the only thing he could do for the hatchling, and he trained her. He was harsh, teaching her as brutally as he was taught as a hatchling. Taught her how to survive, how to be brutal and cruel and vindictive. Tarn encouraged all the lessons that Daenerys taught her, but Tarn ensured she would never again be a victim, and taught her how to be a plagueling.

Growing up, a large part of Viscera hated Tarn, hated how he was so hard on her and pushed her to her breaking point. When she grew up and became Curse's guard, traveling back and forth to the Scarred Wasteland, did Viscera understand what Tarn had done for her.

Daenerys made her able to care about her clan and others, but Tarn had made her strong. Made her a plague dragon in more then just genetics, and for that she loves her adoptive sire with all her heart, still looking up to him for guidance and approval.

It was during one of her early trips with Curse back to the Scared Wasteland did Viscera find her mate, another skinless guardian named Tavor, when he had been wandering around severely damaged and near dead, his clotted blood harvested for experimentation by Arcane Plagueborns.

Something clicked into place at finding her damaged mate, a hole had been filled that she had never known was empty, and Onslaught told her that her Journey was over and that Tavor was hers to look after, a job she takes with the utmost seriousness, and there is nothing Viscera will not do to protect her broken mate.

Very fond of her charge, Curse, Viscera takes her responsibility of his care seriously; seconded only to Tavor. She is very fond of the Shattered Construct, and does everything in her power to protect him, even from himself when he needs it.

Viscera knows that Curse is stubborn as he is stoic, which to many makes him appear heartless and cold. Yet, Viscera knows better, and knows that he just has a harder time then others to open up to them. This is why when Chromia took a liking to her tiny charge, Viscera was ecstatic.

Curse may know how Plague dragons think, but Viscera knows how fire dragons do, and she knows they burn with a passion that can not be rivaled. And that passion will open up the trapped soul within Curse's bones, something Viscera is happy to see.
