Biography
L U N A R A
Loyal Member of the Vanguard
Bio by Phyrne
CHAMPION | VANGUARD | BRAWLER
When she was no more than a hatchling, Lunara’s father would sit her down before bed and tell her the most amazing stories. He would speak of wars won long ago, of victory and battle. Very much her father’s daughter, the young Guardian grew determined to become a great warrior. One even better than her father. Over the years, she trained to achieve her goal. A natural brawler, Lunara never backs down from a fight. Her tenacity has gotten her into trouble more than a few times, but it typically works out in favor. On one claw, this is due to sheer luck. On the other, she’s actually just quite talented. Lunara displays prowess in battle and has defeated plenty of opponents in her own right. Many of the dragons in her clan would consider her one of the best fighters, second perhaps only to the clan’s leader, Diana. Unfortunately, Lunara can’t win all her battles. Her original legs were irreparably damaged after she lost a particularly fierce battle. Fiero, a Nocturne and mechanic in her clan, felt sympathy for the wounded fighter and decided to build a contraption to help her legs work again. In many ways, they work just as well as they did before. A little oil and a few tweaks might be needed now and then, but this Guardian is just as swift and strong as she ever was. The soft “shhk” of hydraulics can be heard with every step she takes. Anyone who sees Lunara’s mechanic legs might be tempted to make assumptions—thinking her weaker or less capable because of them. Those assumptions are most often a deadly mistake. She’s felt a certain connection to Fiero ever since he built the prosthetics for her. Although Lunara has no mate at the moment, she’s quite good at making friends and is well received by almost everyone she meets. There’s only one big exception: the beastclans. She despises them, and simply can’t get over her prejudice. She has her reasons, of course, but her hatred seems to irk the clan’s Beastclan Ambassador, Nidalee. Lunara may run afoul of the Beastclan Ambassador from time to time, but she’s does her best to stay civil no matter how tempting it might be to act otherwise. This Guardian might be stubborn, but she’s generally a happy and friendly dragon who cares for her friends and clan. |
