Monsoon is one of the three Coliseum fighters in the clan. He is the most forward and aggressive of the trio, taking his place as the leader. Being a wildclaw he is naturally built to fight with razor sharp claws and a taste for blood. Acting as fighter fills also fills his need to hunt and kill. Unlike the other two fighters he is the only one who constantly wants to go back out even when they are all exhausted. Monsoon is the strongest of the fighters and tends to do the final blows on enemies and prey. He really fights for the thrill, but is aware of what they are all fighting for. He helps gather and store items, sometimes, if he doesn't get too caught up in the moment. Raea often has to remind him what they're out for. Food, supplies, familiars. Usually he listens, but sometimes he rushes them along leaving them with little to no spoils from some fights. Monsoon has had many mates and flings, his status as the leader of the fights and stories of how brave and strong he is lead to this. However they never stick around, most leaving the clan. He hasn't been seen with a mate or anything of the sort in a long time, which most dragons find odd with how he acted with them. Instead.. he's usually around Nuru when not in the Coliseum. Even if Nuru is healing someone or reading, the wildclaw is right there, either trying to spark conversation or laying beside him listening to Nuru read the tale. This causes speculation of the two being a couple.. but neither have admitted it. Monsoon has never said it to anyone besides Raea, but he really does enjoy being around Nuru. Even if all Nuru wants to do is relax. The wildclaw confines in the skydancer who assures him his secrets are safe with her. During battles Monsoon often watches Nuru opt to heal him when they are both severely injured.. which often leads the the pearlcatcher being rendered unconscious. Monsoon always directly attacks whoever hurt Nuru, more viciously than he or Raea would ever dare to tell anyone in the clan. He strives to protect the pearlcatcher, even if Nuru doesn't know it. |
