While most of the elementals that are members of the clan had either hatched there or were raised by the clan from a young age, Jelrak is one of a few elementals to make the choice of joining the clan and building a den within the lair for them to stay and help the clan while also maintaining a presence on the island. To say he was curious about the clan and it's population of genetically different dragons would be an understatement.

Of course, he knew he was different from the beginning, thanks to the facilities on the island. He was allowed to live his life without disturbance for the most part, sometimes taking part in Arena Battles. It was there he often displayed his gifts, absorbing lightning attacks from adversaries and blasting them back at them or freezing them in place with a mist. In addition, his pearl was an effective conduit for magic, floating and firing beams of light and bolts of lightning toward targets. He was quite the formidable foe indeed....

All in all, he's settled into a fairly quiet life within the clan, working in the kitchen or within the library, sometimes even joining in exploration groups.
