Giving Away Ceremony
The action was unusual for her clan, but not entirely unheard of. Traditionally, a dragon was offered up with a handsome trove of treasure to go with them, and the clans would vie for the dragon. The clan the dragon went home with was drawn by lottery, and the winning clan joined in celebration with the host clan, after which the offered dragon would join the winners. From there the fate of the dragon in question varied, but she was too young to understand anything beyond this giving away would mean Big Change.

She had no handsome treasure to go with her, her parents relied on her beauty alone. A single clan cast their lot in for her at the beginning, and then they waited to see if another would as well. At the end of the time, no other clans had come, and so the winner by default quietly came and collected her. There was not much fanfare at her leaving, everything was kept quiet and personal as her escort waited patiently.

She did not expect a nobody like her would merit any great attention since only one clan attended the ceremony. She was quite wrong.

Upbringing
Kith Clan loved her as their own. Though she never was attached to any one family, she did not lack. They named her, and she spun between tutors and tasks, her time rarely spent in idle deliberation of what ifs.

Qadr's tutelage included basic reading and writing, geography, and more extreme but necessary education for survival in the Viridian Labyrinth. Spending an entire weekend alone in the Everbloom Gardens sneaking around Janustraps was not an experience she wanted to go through again. She found out later she was not alone, and if she'd been in trouble she'd have been saved, but still, it left an impression.

An Introduction to Battle
Getting into her first real fight with the Beastclans was an accident . . . sorta. One of the fledglings she was raised with wandered off (He wasn't a bright fellow, to be honest). She wasn't actually sure he was in trouble, it was mostly just a hunch, and to be honest, she wanted any excuse to dodge her classes. She'd had enough for the day.

As she was sneaking off another fledgling caught her, and though she was certain the large guardian would stop her, she was surprised when the other demanded to go along. Apparently she wasn't the only one yearning for a little freedom and adventure as a break from the routine. They set off, expecting a stroll, and stumbled across their fellow too deep in the Labyrinth to be alone, and under attack. The fae was meditating, already battered by the Webwing he was up against. The abrupt arrival of two melee dragons was Gladeblessed company, and together the trio drove the bird off.

Cruising on adrenaline highs, Qadr and the guardian dragged the fae deeper into the forest looking for another fight.

When the trio returned home that evening, bloody and battered but hauling loot, Qadr knew her time of sitting idle was over. She joined a more dedicated battle group and quickly rose through the fighter ranks, gaining reputation as a reliable team player.
