Biography
The Start of a Clan
If you had told Kesaura on the day they met that her meeting Lace would be the event that started their life in a clan together she probably would've made the effort to kill both you and Lace before letting her - diseased, wounded, and abandoned - self, die alone.
Luckily you hadn't told her and Lace managed not only to live through their first encounter, but to convince Kesaura to come with him as well.
At the time, Kesaura had recently been left behind by her pack do to an injury. It wasn't uncommon for packs leave behind the injured while hunting, slowing down would only hinder the other. If the injured lived, they could always catch up later. Kesaura didn't have a problem with being left. She didn't have a problem with dying either, had it been a more significant wound. The wound she had sustained couldn't be considered more than a scratch yet Kesaura couldn't bring herself to move, she could barely muster the will to open her eyes.
But she had to, because she could feel someone staring down at her and it was a more than frustrating distraction. Sure enough, when her eyes opened, Lace was standing at her feet with a blank expression. And with that blank expression he began to drown her in questions about her well-being and offers to help. Kesaura managed only a couple aggressive protests before finally passing out and being carried away by Lace.
After waking she'd find herself in the company of Lace and Vita, still woozy and barely picking up on the surrounding conversation about a disease. Apparently the Kesaura's wound was not meant to kill, but to infect. It was successful in spreading inside her and was very close to killing her. Vita informed her that she could not cure it, but she could stop it from spreading.
Kesaura agreed, and Vita worked to bring the disease to the surface instead of inside Kesaura where it could spread. There, she solidified the liquid plague where it remains on Kesaura today.

- When she realized Mick inherited her disease, Vita told her he wouldn't live through the solidification process. Instead, Vita contact the one who created the disease - her half-brother Mors.
- Kesaura doesn't know what length Vita went to to convince Mors to create a cure, but she eventually succeeded. The still living disease in Mick was eradicated.
- The cure was purposefully designed to be ineffective on Vita and Kesaura, whose diseases were halted.
- Kesaura's favourite thing about Lionel is how well he takes hits.
