||Character Traits & Personality|| A sometimes-awkward but friendly dragon. He's often not sure about social situations--or even his own abilities as a warrior. The only times he seems completely at ease are when he's with his mate, Elsa, and when he's actively leading his squad. A great planner, but often a bit of a worry-wart outside of battle, and is especially concerned about his daughter's safety. He has a strong sense of justice and a hidden iron will, and, while he tries not to concern himself with the affairs of other clans, he will defend his to his last breath.

||History|| The son of Oskeli, the former Lead Scholar, and Terra, a fierce warrior, Kaden's life was already a bit chaotic. His eccentric father didn't pay much attention to him, too involved in his studies, leading his mother to oversee his upbringing. Terra believed very much in the first born continuing the family legacy and in warrior prowess, and so pushed Kaden into becoming a warrior, despite how much he wanted to avoid it. When he first began training, he was terrified, often rather nervous and coming up with an assortment of different ways things could go wrong, but was too afraid to confront his mother about the situation. Allister, who'd been put in charge of him and another young dragon, Elsa, took notice, and took the young dragon under his wing, encouraging him to speak to Terra, and offering to do so if he truly didn't want to. Kaden avoided it and, instead, Allister helped him focus on a less 'scary' part of battle: strategy, which he believed Kaden had a penchant for. Kaden flourished, creating interesting strategies for his squad leader and squad mate to follow. This worked well until they were faced with a more serious battle, where, while he managed alright for a while, Kaden ended up freezing. Elsa confronted him on it, but offered to help him train. Kaden didn't truly learn how to be brave until dissent and the beginnings of a civil war started in the clan. He confronted his mother on what she'd forced him into, but still claimed responsibility for the choice he'd made, and took the helm at facing down the traitors because, despite his fear, he believed it the right thing to do. This led to a future where he became more used to battle situations and more in control of himself, and a hero in the eyes of his clanmates. He and Elsa eventually became mates; the former leader of his squad, Allister, stepped down from the roles of warrior and heir after the full-scale civil war, passing the leader position on to him--though he declined the position of heir, believing himself unqualified. Their squad only regained a third member much later, when Helios arrived.
