Ridjava is a gentle soul who favors the quiet, and slow things. He likes lying in secluded spaces and cuddling with his floofy seal, and long stretches of idle thought looped around stony outcroppings and admiring the scenery. When he came to Crispin's Warrens after his home clan was attacked and scattered to the winds, he was readily accepted by Azhemal, who arranged him to be Yaaldeva's partner. However, Yaaldeva's personality was big and loud and devoted, and clashed with Ridjava's gentility and introspection. He had hoped to find happiness at her side, as everywhere else he'd gone he was shunned for having a standoffish personality and an imposing appearance, and so Yaaldeva's rejection wounded him deeply. He respects her choice, though, and has accepted that he is her ceremonial mate, not her beloved one. Yaaldeva, her Wildclaw lover, and Ridjava maintain a peaceful arrangement, as Ridjava has finally closed up his emotions for good and put on his stone face for everybody. He longs for a like-minded companion, but no longer seeks out conversation, as he is too used to frightening away the other dragons he approaches.
