B I O G R A P H Y

It is common for days to go by without any sign of Tristan. Suddenly he will appear with a bulging brown sack, and a trail of mushrooms remains littered behind him. Generally quiet and soft-spoken, he can be persuaded to talk at the mention of any plant, although after this it might be difficult to stop him. Often seen pressing his nose into different flora and sniffing, he can identify plants just by smell. Tristan has also given himself the task of experimenting which plants may or may not be edible. As such Muir and Tristan are on good terms, usually with the healer shaking his head in exasperation as Tristan sets off on another mission. Sometimes he drags entire plants home, roots and all, presenting them with a lopsided grin to Taupo, who shaking her head, finds a new place for them in the garden.
