You can hear the noises of the kitchen long before the room comes into view. It's not the clang of pots and pans that echos so much as the yelling.

"Simple, yeah? Rustic! Are you stupid? I said, are you stupid? What's this sh*t supposed to be, eh? Steak tartare? Oh f*ck me… I wouldn't serve this to my bloody dog! F*ck me! Give up, yeah? Give up! You can't cook you idiot!" You cringe as you peek into the kitchen, which looks something like a battlefield. A few unlucky dragons are running around willy-nilly, chopping, pureeing, sauteing, poaching, and filleting at breakneck pace. In the middle of the mayhem stands a fuming purple coatl, who is screaming orders and criticism indiscriminately. Though he's dressed in only a white apron, he's no doubt the head chef.

An assistant, a towering imp easily twice the chef's size, calls him over to a huge, steaming pot. The coatl tastes it, his face turning brighter purple as he gives his lungs a run for their money delivering the verdict.

"That's f*cking perfect! Bloody good, yes?! F*cking finally! Keep it up, yeah?! Don't go celebrating yet! Keep it going!" The imp nods placidly and begins working on a new dish. However crazy it may seem, at least the kitchen seems to be productive. You shake your head, wondering how the other chefs keep their patience and cool, and back away before you're noticed by the mad chef.
