As the Sage of Decay, Kalika represents the interest of the Plaguebringer and her followers in the clan assemblies. She cares little for politics, voting with the majority unless truly engaged in the topic.

The most scholarly of the clan, Kalika lives for discovery and collects trinkets almost compulsively. Since most of these tokens consist of bones (of dubious origins), she is given somewhat of a berth by her clan. She works closely with Famus as a healer, and their relationship has blossomed from one of grudging respect into true friendship. While Famus seeks to cure the ill and aid the wounded, Kalika seeks to study them. While this study proves fruitful, many find it both morbid and unsettling, no matter how useful it might be. Kalika doesn't seem to care what it said, however, and carries on unabated.

When not working as the Representative of the Plaguebringer, Kalika works as a healer, pharmacist, and dentist. While surgeries are directed to Famus, Kalika handles illnesses. Recently, however, she has been taking on more and more cases herself, in an attempt to prevent Famus from overworking himself and causing his condition to worsen.
