Marsh Occupation: Mint Clans Alliance Leader About: She/Her Marsh may seem laidback at first but that is the farthest from the truth. She behaves in a way that almost seems to be a means to conserve energy, like a cat. She is sly and devious. It always seems like she is hiding something beneath that smile… Perhaps it is some mischievous intent? Or perhaps it is the genuine care she holds for her city and its residents? A few regular visitors and residents of Mint City act as a intellect group for Marsh, gathering information and bringing it to her in exchange for favors and payment. Sometimes Marsh will gather a few of these dragons and carry out raids or miscellaneous missions, with her leading it. Marsh rules over the Mint Clans brilliantly. No clan makes a move without her knowledge of it. The leaders of the clans that belong to the coalition are rightfully wary and intimidated by her. Some don't quite like the overbearing presence Marsh's leadership has, the eerie feeling that every move is being watched, but no one can deny that the city runs like a well-oiled machine because of it. History: Born of an Ice Clan, Marsh had trouble living in those cold conditions for some reason. Her parents and clanmates chalked her troubles in the ice as a weakness, and she was frowned upon. Sick of her hateful clan, young Marsh ran away. She traveled a long way, running into all sorts of dragons and adventures, before being found resting on the Mint Clan grounds by the First Leader. He took her in as his own daughter, and when he left the clan decades later to serve Windsinger, Marsh was chosen to be the leader. Marsh had to fight hard to be accepted as the Leader of the Mint Alliance. She was an outsider, and while there were many outsiders within the closer ranks of the Alliance, the Alliance's Council wished for someone more in touch with the city and the lands to lead. At first, young Marsh struggled, fighting head on with the Council with many decisions. But this didn't work. Marsh nearly gave up to becoming a puppet leader for the Council, before coming to the realization that the way she'd get what she want was not going to be valiant or honest as her teachers taught her. And so, she gathered her closest guards and bid them to spy for her, and to gather any intel they could on the Council. So they did. Now armed with private and intimate knowledge, Marsh was able to weave Mint City's politics much more efficiently than before. Soon, it became a well-known trademark of hers. But she wasn't insulted for it- rather, under her tight control, Mint City grew and prospered in many ways. The Wardogs were whipped to follow orders and laws more closely, marketplaces became packed with dragons every day, ocean- and hover-ships would now arrive often with goods, effective laws to assist those unable to work actually helped boost the economy... The list went on. No one could argue Marsh was a bad leader any longer, not even with her slippery ways.
