This nameless dragon does not have a name, despite having existed for many years. From hatching, he's tried on many a name, but none of them could ever quite stick. Eventually, his lack of a name became part of his identity, and he's worn it with pride since. He hatched from a nest of three eggs. When he and his siblings had grown, they were sent to serve the Icewarden. During their journey across the Southern Icefields, he saw a clouded mith flitting about far below him, appearing lost and a little distressed. Curious, he flew down to meet it, forgetting the original reason he was travelling for. He is considered to have been exalted by his family and the dragons he knew in his old lair, them not knowing that he is in fact still traveling Sornieth. His siblings were given the great honor of being named by the Icewarden himself, but as he never went to the Icewarden, he was never given a name. He struggled with trying to find the perfect name to identify himself by, but nothing could ever quite fit - until one day, he realised that he didn't really need a name. He does not enjoy meeting other dragons, having lived alone for much of his life. The natural curiosity that almost every spiral has was what earned him the friendship of his foremost companion, and as such it is a trait he has consciously kept with him. He trusts his clouded mith with his life, and it is unlikely for any other dragon to be able to win that kind of trust from him. He chose his position as messenger, hoping that would mean he would spend most of his time traveling and away from other dragons. He doesn't speak to the recipient of the messages - he just drops off the letter or package, and flies off. Unfortunately, he is roped into conversation more often than not. His clouded mith companion accompanies him on every journey, making sure that he dosen't get harmed. |
