Vikeznera

Vikeznera is a bit of a mouthful though, so she lets the people she likes call her Vika.

Charge: The lower cave and it's extensive brackish water pools and tunnels. It is home to a small community of maren, who are also under Vikeznera's protection.

It started out with just Vika and Areo, the stained glass girl and dark shimmering boy. Vika is like a magnetic ice princess. She can be quite chilly, but she just draws people in like crazy all the same. Areo fell for her pretty hard. She thought he was madly handsome, so she went for it and they had a bit of a fling. it turns out they had a much deeper connection than just their physical one, and they decided to try out the relationship.

It was going just fairly well, when into the lair came Luka, a beautiful gold and blue guardian. (The quartet affectionately calls him "the glue.") When they talked about it, Vika and Areo both felt the urge to take care of him. Luka had really bad crushes on both Areo and Vika, which eventually became painfully obvious to both Areo and Vika through all his stuttering and blushing around them. When they invited him to share their cave, they'd never seen him more red. But he accepted, and that was that, and things worked better than they ever had without him.

Mentha, the girl with the minty wings, was the last addition, very quickly after Luka. Areo saw her and thought she looked kind of like a princess that deserved to be spoiled and taken care of. They went hunting together, and he decided that he loved the playful, naturally flirtatious way she carried herself and her light carefree nature. He talked to Vika and Luka about it, and Luka agreed without hesitation, but Vika seemed unsure. When they noticed that she was uncomfortable, both her boys saw that and dropped it immediately, no questions asked.

Vika remained unsure about it, until she actually spent time with the other young guardian, and was startlingly quickly pulled into her circle of charm. At which point she ran back to their nest, where Luka and Areo were sleepily cuddling, and asked, "Are we still thinking about asking in Mentha? Because if so, I really really want to." So they asked in Mentha.

Mentha had, kind of admittedly, was attracted to all the dragons in the trio. How could she not be? They were gorgeous. However, she was initially surprised and a bit shocked by their invitation, asking for a bit of time to consider it. She seemed much calmer once they had explained their situation, and the way their relationship worked, more or less. After taking a day or so to wrap her head totally around it, she started hanging out with Luka more. Maybe it was because they were the closest in age, but she felt most comfortable asking him questions. From there, Mentha soon found herself realizing how much she /did/ want to be a part of their little family. How Areo's protectiveness, and Vika's nurturing heart under her cold exterior, and Luka's soft willingness to give /worked/ together. How her own playful nature might just make it even better. Of course, the fact that they were all wildly attractive didn't hurt things.

A few weeks later, when she walked into their tunneled off nest, and nudged her way into the traditional nighttime cuddle, everybody moved to accommodate her, even maneuvering her right into the middle, surrounded by everybody else. And when Vika asked her if she was staying, she said she'd decided to give it a try.
The four of them have been pretty much grossly inseparable ever since. The rest of the clan doesn't /really/ get it, but it's obvious to everybody how much they care for each other, and how happy they are. And to everybody else that's really all that matters.
