tumblr_inline_nll487CBtK1qg2i5p_400.png From a young age Ydris never had the ability to fly. Her wings would never flap without falling back to the earth. Her parents cared for her dearly, but could only send dragons which could fly to Glademother.
After a brief argument with her mother, she fled her old clan and arrived, exhausted and weak, at the Fellus Clan. She was cared for by Iliana, who shared her love of nature. She was soon under the care of Folium and Iliana. From Iliana she learnt the ways of medicine, and from Folium she learnt how to make extraordinary machines, which did extraordinary things. But she always longed to soar in the sky, as the other dragons did.
Folium saw this in the young dragon and spent his time making her a handcrafted pair of wings, to help her soar in the sky.
From then on Ydris spent all of her time high up in the sky. She soon became the clan's lookout, searching high in the sky.
Whilst on duty Ydris came across another dragon like her. A male tree dragon, Masato, with whom she soon fell in love with.
