The Lord of the Lair, Alastair is the last dragon any of the clan wishes to cross. As hard and unforgiving as a diamond, he never understands how the dragons cannot follow the 'simple' instructions he gives. His duty, one he takes great pleasure in, is as Judge for those who have broken clan law. With dulcet tones and a sympathetic smile he metes out harsh, yet strangely fair, punishments. As a dragon who knows all the rules he often pushes right up against the line but never crosses it, violating the spirit but never the letter of the laws he enforces. A dark figure in the halls of the clan, the wise avoid Alastair even as the young seek to emulate the natural air of power he exudes.
