Belladonna hates her job, she thinks it's beneath her, which is why Derloth assigned the job to her in the first place.

She could easily poison them all, and if the rumors are to be believed she's tried to on more than one occasion.

But that's a ridiculous notion, if she poisoned them she wouldn't have anyone to complain to. Instead she does her job and irritates the others with her loud whining about it.

Which is why Daryl simply drops the meat off and leaves. He can't stand her whining.

She makes sure the food is good to eat, and separates them into the 4 food groups. She also makes sure that certain foods don't come into contact with others. She holds the others life in her claws. One wrong sort and one of the dragons allergic to Seafood could easily die.

She may complain and whine about her job but she takes it very seriously. (Of course, she sometimes takes some of the food and snacks while sorting. Not that anyone minds, if her mouth is full she's usually quiet.)
