Shy, independent; preoccupied with the small things

Youngest-child Nurasyl, last to hatch of his clutch, nicknamed for a kindly wanderer his father met while traveling abroad. Nurasyl is the quietest and most shy of the clutch, preferring to watch from a distance than interact with others directly. Like his father, he is given to wandering, though his stubby hatchling's paws never take him much farther than the crechekeeper's line of sight.

Nurasyl has little affection for architecture like his parents and elder brothers, and he is not particularly ambitious. He seems most attracted to non-dragon creatures, and spends most of his daylight hours scouting here and there for colonies of ants, or beetles, or small reptiles to catch and examine closely before letting them go again. He is extremely kind and gentle; his parents often remark that there may well be no dragon alive on Sornieth who is as conscientious and compassionate as Nurasyl, who balks at even disturbing a fly, much less swatting it.

Nurasyl is seldom seen without his trusty pencil and pad of sewn-together scrap parchment, in which he jots down descriptions or quick sketches of the various animals he comes across while meandering through the day. These he usually shares with his father in the sunset hours, dutifully recounting the day's sightings before bedding down for the night.
