What I wouldn't do for my clan... There's nothing. When the howling wind woke me, shaking in the cold embrace of the tundra's icy flurries, I did not know what lie ahead of me. My shattered past couldn't compare to the honor I would know in the ranks of the Icebound.

A soft sound of footsteps reached me as I lay, scales frosted, wings soaked from the snow. I struggled to lift my head. Every part of me ached. My horns, my wings, everything heavy. The jingle of heavy chains, just audible above the howling wind, first reached me. The creature came forward slowly, a shadow cast across my numb face. I strained to look upward, meeting the too-close face of a Wildclaw. Were I not exhausted, I would've jumped back. Scars striped her body, and she poked at me from under a thick cloak. Her voice was strong and proud. "What will we do, Admiral? He looks to be in dangerous condition."

As I strained to turn my head, I saw another. A large furry Tundra, at home in the howling wind, his crimson coat blowing wildly in the breeze, spoke decisively, his rumbling growl of a voice almost lost in the wind. "Bring him. We return to the Garrison."

Later, my wounds would prove to be too much for taking up the role of Warrior for the Icebound's ranks. But with due honor to our Elder, I served to bring my clutch up with the heart of the fiercest warriors, serving the Icewarden as Icebound's own brood did, fearlessly in the Tundra and beyond. And when it was my time to leave, the elder himself bid me well, bestowing upon me my title as Time Turner. As they saved me in my time of need, so I provided a fighting force for the Icebound, and our debts are paid. But my heart forever resides in the Garrison, fighting with my brothers and sisters of the Icefield.
