Quote:
GORE
Gores see themselves as the most spiritually refined of the plaguelands. They strive to offer the most creative sacrifices to the Plaguebringer, and will wear the remnants of their offerings as a lasting tribute. They are quite reclusive, preferring the company of their own kind in isolated areas around the Rotrock Rim, often coming across as snobbish to other clans. However, in spite of this preference they will lead others in ritual, and on rare occasion even perform a blessing upon those who ask.
Ideal: White Iridescent | Crimson Freckle | Blood Crackle
This dragon should retain a starkly contrasted appearance. White is reminiscent of bone, crimson as freshly spilled life, with blood representing sacrificial remnants.
Refer to Primary, Secondary and Tertiary below for genetics/coloring that are preferred but not ideal.
Primary
Colors: White, Rose, Ivory, Maize, Platinum, Silver, Ice
Genes: Iridescent, Crystal, Ripple, Speckle, Bar
Variant Genes: Tiger, Clown
Secondary
Colors: Crimson, Red, Blood, Maroon
Genes: Freckle, Current, Stripes, Daub, Facet
Variant Genes: Shimmer, Seraph, Eye Spots
Tertiary
Colors: Blood, Crimson, Red, Maroon
Genes: Crackle
*Crackle MUST be the tertiary. Any other tert is considered variant. Secondary and Tertiary may be the same color for an XYY effect, but this is not required.
This subspecies is most successful in a light environment, in addition to its homeland. Unlike any other plagueling, they do not actively spread infection; quite oppositely, their bodies hold the key to curing the majority of afflictions. Just as the Wyrm produces newly inventive strains, gores will adapt in their curative abilities. It is unwise to slay a gore, however, as imminent danger triggers a latent toxin which may render their fleshy materials useless.
