Eliana was born in a small clan on the outskirts of the Wandering Contagion, and her early life was pretty average - her family was strong and healthy, and the Clan's warriors had no problem keeping the Beastclan away. One day, though, her parents decided to go on a vacation to the Sunbeam Ruins, leaving their children in the hands of their Clanmembers. They had promised to return next season, and frequently sent letters about their experiences in Light. One day, the letters stopped coming.

The Nocturne immediately set off, determined to find her parents. They had not written a single thing that suggested they were hurt or in danger, but it was better to be safe than sorry. Her Clan had generously provided her with some food and supplies, for which she was very grateful: the expedition turned out to be significantly longer than she had expected. She was halfway through the Sea of a Thousand Currents when a hurricane suddenly came rushing towards her and violently steered her off-course to the edge of the Ashfall Wastes.

She was now too far from her destination, and had lost almost all of her stuff thanks to the tornado. With the little money she had left, she bought some food and threw herself towards the Windswept Plateau, hoping that another powerful gale of wind would come through to sweep her to the Sunbeam Ruins and spare her the energy.

Unfortunately, this did not work in her favour. Instead, she was sent flying towards the Southern Icefield. The dragon landed on a glacier with a crash and slid right into the ice-cold water. She quickly scrambled back on with a yelp, and saw a young Skydancer (accompanied by several others) approaching her, who was clearly trying not to laugh.
"Hey, are you alright? I almost never approach strangers, but you seem to be having... a little bit of trouble over there. I'm Topaz."
"I'm fine. My name's Eliana, and my plan definitely did not go as expected," Eliana said, sighing.
"I'm assuming it didn't include colliding with a glacier and slipping into the sea."
"You'd be correct."

Eliana is very outgoing and a rather quick-witted dragon with a fear of solitude. She is also a little bit of a prankster and likes to entertain the others. The rest of her personality, however, mostly depends on who the last person she spent time with was, as Nocturnes tend to mimic dragons they are in close proximity with. She was one of the dragons who designed the exterior appearance of the Crystalfall Kingdom with the help of the other Nocturnes, and expertly camouflaged it with the surroundings to prevent unwanted visitors. Most of the time, she can be seen at the Market, chatting away to another dragon (usually Topaz, as the pair are best friends).
