______ Shuichi has always had a strange taste for blood and gore. Even as a hatchling, he would wander outside bloodily mauling any creature that interested him. He’d laugh and smile as he painfully and slowly torture it to death. His prey’s carcass would be so bloodied and splattered that no one could recognize what it originally was. Many dead creatures including familiars continued to turn up each day so his family’s clan was naturally getting worried at what sort of sick beast could be capable of such actions. Shuichi, being only a hatching, was of course never suspected; however. he knew it was only a matter of time before he slippedup so he had to do something.

______ One day, the carcasses stopped turning up. No more corpses. No more blood. The whole clan was relieved to the bone. Some thought it was sort of weird for it to suddenly disappear like that, but they concluded that whatever was causing it must’ve stopped. They were very wrong. Shuichi, now a young dragon, never stopped his bloodlust. In fact, it grew so much that he now was cannibalizing his prey. His targets were only wild creatures though.

______ The thought of harming his clan mates never crossed his mind until one fateful day. Shuichi was outside far away from his clan territory doing his usual business. Killing. Holding his prey between his claws, he smiled wicked as he crushed its bones slowly. The creature gave out an ear-splitting wail of torment which excited him even more. Unfortunately, one of his clan mates happened to be near the area so hearing that awful wail made him check it out. What he saw horrified and stunned him. Shuichi, covered in blood and entrails, was gobbling down a half alive creature. He tried to run away, but Shuichi caught him before he could run few meters. Gripping the his clan mate by the neck, he snapped it in one second killing the dragon instantly. He was hesitant to eat a fellow dragon at first, but once he tasted it...oh, how delicious did it taste. His cannibalism was sparked alive.

______ Thinking he had gotten away with it, Shuichi quickly cleaned up the mess of his kill and went back to his clan. However, the missing dragon turned into more fuss than he had thought. He tried to play innocent, and it worked until someone scented the dragon on him. In addition to that, few specks of blood were also found on his scales. Gasps of horror sounded the whole clan when they finally realized who was responsible for the mysterious corpses. Every single dragon shunned him. Even his family looked at him with shame and disdain. Shuichi didn’t particulary care though so when the leader officially exiled him, he left without complaint. He never felt he belonged to that clan anyway.

______ From the Plague lands, Shuichi wandered from region to region. He never stopped his killing, but now, he left a place quickly after a kill so no trace would lead to him. One particular day in the Abiding Boneyards, an kingly Imperial discovered him while he was cannibalizing a creature. Shuichi thought the dragon would be terrified so he was surprised when the ghoulish dragon suddenly smirked at him. He introduced himself as Hubris, the clan leader of Ethereal Entities. “You’re bloodlust is exactly what we need,” Hubris smirked as his eyes focused on the blood carcass Shuichi was holding. He invited the imperial to join their clan adding that he could continue to kill as he pleased and no one would judge him for it.

______ Shuichi, at first, was skeptical. Should he really trust this dragon? But he was the first one to offer him his clan. Normally, the others would be miles away from him now. A clan that wasn’t bothered by blood sounded interesting. A clan that likes blood is the best clan for him. Smirking back, he accepted the Imperial's offer. Hubris nodded in satisfaction and led him to his territory.

______ From then on, he became part of the Ethereal Entities with a responsibilty as the clan’s vice guard and scout. Scouting became the new way for him to find targets. When a wrong creature stepped into his clan, he’d ‘take care’ of it right away. So, to all creatures out there, beware of Shuichi when stepping into the Abiding Boneyards...
