Tyler is a very outgoing and energetic Coatl who, for the most part, enjoys talking to others and loves living life to the fullest. He prefers to tinker around with new things, exploring the vast reaches of the Windswept Plateau (as well as Beast Clan territory) and observing the happenings and actions of his fellow clan mates. He is quite intelligent and often enjoys laying outside of the clan's den and watching the clouds float by.

Aside from being laid back, his mood can change dramatically if someone threatens or hurts his clan mates. He is loyal to his clan and rarely backs out of a fight if it means to protect them. His bold nature helps in a fight along with his knowledge of the battle ground, so most of the battles that he is involved in are easily won with his strategies. He is all positive and rarely looks at the negative side of things, no matter the situation.

Even though he does often miss the Sunbeam ruins that he once called home in his early days, this clan of winds has accepted him with open wings. Most of the dragons are nice and he found out later that the clan was mostly made up of refugees from other flights and clans and all of them seemed to be here to stay. The clan also used to be one of the many in the Sea of a Thousand currents as he learned from the clan leaders after noticing their deep blue eyes were not of those that the native wind dragons have.
