Biography

Scourge
Blood King of the Plague of Bats
The blood of the Plague runs rampant through my veins.

{Personality}
Scourge is violent, sadistic, and all together killer Nocturne. Scourge is not afraid of putting dragons and other creatures in their place, which is preferably in the collection of bones that cover the skeleton he and his clan call home. Bloodshed is nothing to this dragon, in fact he'd rather cover his scales in it.

When he isn't killing he looks after his small clan. Trust is something that Scourge doesn't have much of. He relies on his mate Plague's intuition for allowing in new members. He finds use in the skills that others have, whether they be taboo or not, if he finds useful he will allow them in. However if a dragon crosses Scourge he will give no chances in taking his cleaver to them. Dragons get one chance with Scourge before they are added to collection of bones.

{Biography}
In the land of The Windswept Plateau a dragon was born. This dragon feasted upon the souls of others, created death and disease all the while carving a path of destruction and chaos. The god Windsinger watched as this dragon defiled the land, feasting upon the beasts and even the dragons inhabiting it. Windsinger looked down from the sky and gave breath, naming the dragon Scourge. The scar on the Windsinger’s name, and the bane of this God’s existence. Windsinger could only look down on this evil stain he had birthed in his land and pray that Scourge would leave his lands in peace and find somewhere else to destroy. Happy days came to the peaceful Windsinger when Scourge became bored of the Plateau and decided to move on. It was almost as if the day he left, the great God sent joyous winds to escort the great nuisance from his lands.

Scourge left and flew from the farthest corners of the plateau searching for a familiar to corrupt with his tainted and ruthless mentality. Scourge searched for familiars of all species, killing and eating the ones that refused to be tainted by his malice. Blood stained his claws, and his maw filled with the flesh of weaker creatures, the journey to find anything that would willingly follow him seemed futile. After months of searching Scourge came across a beast that had killed the familiar of a dead dragon. With the blood of others around her mouth, the vicious Loga looked up to him, almost hissing as it raised the fin that protruded from her spine at him. This was then Scourge knew he found his new companion. With Rot at his side, he felt all powerful.

The two flew to a new haven of rot and death, a land of plague and sickness. The Scarred Wasteland, home to the goddess Plaguebringer. He had heard much about the Plague Mother. And it seemed she had been expecting their coming. He was let in with open wings and welcomed with the stench of a home made from infection. Only the strong would survive here, and Scourge was ready to prove himself. He needed to get a lair, he needed a clan to rule, and most importantly he needed a mate.

His quest for a lair led him to the Abiding Boneyard where he stumbled upon the monstrous skeleton of a long ancient dragon. The skull alone was enough for at least twenty more dragons of his size to fit into, however the massive slithering body stretched as far as the eye could see. HUndreds of dragons could call this place home, however Scourge would be bent on keeping this immense find all to himself. Rot seemed to agree with her master, this skeleton would belong to no one but Scourge and anyone brave enough to join him. Any dragon who even chanced coming in would be killed.

For months Scourge and his companion Rot defended their newly found home from dragons who wished to steal it from them. Any dragon who hadn’t fled from them became just another decoration that adorned the great skeleton he reigned. Bones now created a roofing, rooms to stay in. All held together by fleshy strands, sticks and anything Scourge could find to paste the bones in place. His palace was taking shape, but still he had no one to rule. That is, until one rainy night a dragon dared entering his domain.

It was Rot who alerted him to an intruder, her growling awakening him. At the mouth of the great skull that made up the entrance to his lair stood a larger red and black female Nocturne accompanied by a bear like familiar. Who was this dragon and what did she want? He pondered killing her as he did everyone else, however this was the first time anyone had even attempted to actually take shelter in his home. Maybe he could use her after all.

Begrudgingly he welcomed the female into his home, but not before telling Rot to keep a close eye the dragon and her pet. He learned that her name was Plague and that she too was alone and looking for a home and clan. Well what a surprise, maybe this could be the start of a new relationship.From then on she stay at his side, following every order. Scourge was beginning to like having Plague around.
