Biography

Daisy, referring to the flower. In the flower language, can mean 'Innocence', 'Loyal love', 'I'll never tell', or 'Purity'.
Daisy is from the far southern ice lands, where she ran away from a 'spoiled and tainted' clan of dragons. Her parents had been part of the clan, and had impressed on her the abilities to lie and spy. While she had been raised in the midst of plots for seats of power next to the Lair Lord, of plans to overthrow this family or that to gain respect, the then-unnamed imperial would have none of it. She left one day, in broad daylight no less, and declared she would not return. Her parents had pinned many of their hopes of glory on her and made to stop her, but she was well prepared and had set many false trails beforehand.
Bitter but free, the cynical imperial traveled for some time before coming to a marketplace in the north. She met Esrahia, a guardian dragon of the Obsidian Flight, and amused by the optimistic dragon's attitude, helped her haggle with shopkeepers for a day (Esrahia proved to be an awful haggler, getting impatient and just trading for any price). Grateful to the younger (but more mature) imperial, she asked her to stay with her Lair for the night, as the younger dragon had admitted to have been traveling and sleeping under the stars. Deciding to humor the upbeat guardian, she warned her that she was a strange dragon, and didn't she know you didn't just invite strange dragons back to your Lair? 'That's ridiculous!' Esrahia replied. 'You've been helping me all day. Besides, I don't believe anyone with eyes like daises could be all bad'. Shocked by the completely different attitude of the guardian, the yellow-toned imperial accepted and returned home with the obsidian dragon.
She asked to see a 'daises' on the way, to which Esrahia corrected her with, ';Not daises, that's a bunch of them! You mean A daisy' and she found one alone the road soon enough, and showed it to the imperial. The younger immediately declared that she would bear the name of Daisy from now on; She wanted the name of the flower her new friend had thought she seemed like.
(Ever the emotional one, Esrahia teared up and cried happily that it was a wonderful name and it suited her).
Daisy had planned on her stay to be a short one, for she did not want to be seen as a mooch, but the Lair was delighted by her presence; The adults asked what she had seen as she had traveled, and the hatchlings begged for stories of the frozen south. A week went by before Daisy had known it, and she began to get uneasy that she was overstaying her welcome (If nothing else, her parents had taught her good manners, even if they were manners to disguise her abilities as a spy). As she was making ready to leave, Lobelia, the difficult but motherly pearlcatcher, came flying home in a distressed rage; As she had been babysitting, one of the hatchlings had been kidnapped behind her, and she had only seen the kidnapper's retreating blue tail before they had disappeared. While the rest of the clan went into an uproar, Daisy quietly approached Sintharia, the Lair Lady, and told her the truth of her origins. Sintharia disliked the idea of spying, but agreed seeing that she did not have any more likely plans. Daisy set out, once again arriving at the marketplace, and began her spying, asking around as a stranger simply interested in the local news. She kept her ears open for rumors, sifting through ones she could tell were simple words being flung around and ones that actually sounded like they had merit. Having heard a rumor of a crazed water-dragon believing himself to be the Tidelord himself, she left to meet him.
