Sapphire

Oceans are the most aesthetically pleasing and scariest things to think about. I romanticize oceans a lot, with coral reefs and kelp forests keeping all the little fishes and plants safe and alive. The waves crashing into the rocky bay with sea spray tailing off and all the rest makes me think of a perfect beach day to play near the fishes and collect the seashells. Though, I'm constantly reminded that the ocean can be a lot more dangerous than it looks with all the mysteries and depths that humans haven't explored yet. Questions like "What's really down there?" or "If I go deep enough, something can easily come after me..." fill my head. Even though I fully realize the danger oceans can actually be beneath the surface and the curiosity it brings, I can't help but love the ocean.
