- - - Moniz was only a hatchling when he met Simon, and it was an instant bonding. They played together, and grew up together. Moniz was in love, and would do anything for Simon. But... something was off with Simon as he became Czar. He was changing? And Moniz felt betrayed? Where was the dragon he played tag with? But, due to the fact that they hung out so much, a placebo effect took place, and Moniz went crazy as well. He got hired to... operate on Simon's mistresses. Lobotomies here, Amputations there, and a couple even had to be Spayed. Who needs anesthesia? The screams kept him sane. One of Moniz's talents was the transorbital lobotomy. He was quite hands on, for lack of a better word.
Once the Czar died, everything changed. All of Simon's accomplices got arrested and/or exiled. Steffan took the throne and everything changed. However, something went wrong in Moniz's brain. He managed to get a hold of the dead Czar's head? And kept seeing him. He was too unstable to be sent to the dungeons, so he got locked up in the wine cellar, where the mistresses used to be. He spends his days singing to the "Czar".
