Biography
Belial is one of the first dragons visitors see as they arrive in the lair, together with his mate Pearline. The two Imperials have made the top of the entrance their favorite lounging spot. Their pale colors catch the moonlight perfectly though few have ever been able to appreciate the sight, save for Royale.
Visitors think the Imperials lounge where they do to keep an eye on strangers. Belial's true purpose is to ensure no dragons that are not native to the shadows wander outside when the moonlight ripples across the clearing in the forest. Belial has seen the tricks the light plays on those nights. He hopes they were tricks. Such things should never happen to a dragon.
Sometimes he wonders if he should ask Kali what she thinks about it. The dark Imperial is always out on nights of the full moon, accompanying Abbadon to that strange place upriver. Much better to keep quiet, he then realizes. Pearline needs him, and he doesn't want to cause a ruckus. He doesn't want to upset the things that play in the moonlight. All he needs to do is guard the entrance to the lair and make sure nobody comes out on those nights. Lilith will tell them if something should be done, he hopes.
