Budsy is a keen gardener. He has a great adoration for all the splendid flora in the world, and takes great delight in being able to discover new plants that he once knew nothing about. So what made him stay in a shadow lair, where flora are rarefied by the harsh benighted surroundings...? Well, truthfully, a little patch of vegetation secured in a corner of the lair caught his eye. The multitude of colours piercing through the darkness immediately lulled his desperation to find a nature lair as he inquisitively approached the little area. The clan phytologist, Botan, initially let out a warning roar, and demanded that he step back, claiming that these fragile flora were easily destroyed. As Budsy explained his interest and apologised for the intrusion, the formerly startled pearlcatcher stepped back and introduced herself too, also apologising for her haste. Apparently, another clan member had a habit of trampling her flowers, which had been putting her on edge. The two conversed some more, and Budsy soon became a guardian of sorts for when she was out with the foraging team, scouting for new flora to add. He knew an incredible amount about plant life from all over Sornieth, and so rarely did he need instructions on how to raise them. Overtime, he and Botan became increasingly fond of one another, and as many would expect, they became mates. Starlight didn't hesitate on gifting him a Timber Tender, whom he just calls Timber, soon after his arrival. The two get along perfectly, and are always patrolling any emerging plant life in the lair. More recently, Budsy has a new friend - Bloom! He and his mate frequently assist him with their beautiful bouquets. |
