a very long time ago, when the clan was small, yeto and his mate yeta crossed the frigid floes into wind territory during the longest night of the year. what they were doing in the southern icefield is something of a mystery, as neither dragon was elementally aligned with ice- a somewhat darker mystery, why were they chained? the enchanted shackles have outlasted the memory of either tundra, so perhaps there is no one left now who could say; but when the breezes of the zephyr steppes blow from the south, sometimes yeto scents an old fear on the wind, and thinks of a terrible cold.
