ONDOLEMAR
the wizard, the unwise
Ondo always knew one thing about his destiny: he was to be the greatest wizard to ever live. His plans went awry when he was expelled from the Academy for Arcane Arts, where he'd been a struggling student, for experimenting with black magic. Ridiculed and ridden out, he retreated to isolation and its safety, a small pastel tower trembling on the furthest spires of the Starfall Isles. There, he once again heard the calls and promises of black magic, and performed a ritual long-lost, guided only by the scattered and torn page remants of an old spellbook. The spires of the isles quaked and crumbled from below, carving an entrance for the minion of the Underworld he had summoned. A violet shield alone cradled the small, tenacious castle, clinging to its last lone spire. Such untapped power overcame him, a young wizard not as gifted as he had hoped, and he awoke to the demands of the dark minion he'd evoked.

"Dad, I'm hungry," Nox droned, knowing that with persistence, she would be rewarded with a delectable snack with little to no effort expended in its acquistion.
"You're meant to be my dark minion, you know?" Ondo reminded her, already worn down and preparing a captured wayward spirit for her to devour.
"Hey, you're the dummy who can't even perform a simple ancient black magic ritual properly. Make sure the soul is fresh!"
Ondo gave a dejected sigh and proceeded to do her bidding.
