Biography
Dorian slipped, and fell, into mud. Ugh. Not again… He thought unhappily. This unfortunately did keep happening though, because he was fighting in a swamp filled with rivers, bugs, and lots of mud. He got up and kept practicing his slashes and swipes, he would dodge an duck and he was truly trying to get better at an eliminating blow, but kept failing. After awhile, he stopped his fighting and decided to hang out for the rest of the day, and to also get some food. Great storms he was hungry!
As he headed to the market he saw a dragon yelling and roaring at the sky. Dorian ran towards the stand and immediately asked, “What’s wrong, what happened?!” The other dragon stared angrily at the sky then turned towards Dorian and said in a snarling voice, “A dragon that ran one of my stands was supposed to be here running it, but she’s not here! It’s all because of that Guardian that went up to her yesterday, I swear to the Icewarden I’ll find her!”
Dorian thought about this, and then asked, “Would you pay me to do it? I can, but I need a reward. Do we have a deal?” The dragon looked surprised at this but then responded, in a snarly voice still, “Yes. Find them, and make her explain why she left!” So off Dorian went, flying towards the spot in the sky where the dragon below had been shouting. After a bit of fast-flying, he spotted a couple tiny specks in the distance flapping away. I guess they’re my targets Dorian thought to himself, but not with excitement.
He saw them land and landed a bit behind them in the forest, trying to creep up on them. Apparently he wasn’t very stealthy, because the Guardian that was talking quietly to a purple Spiral female pricked her ears then spun around and snarled into the bushes, “Who’s there?! Try and fight me, you won’t have a chance!” Then she summoned a spell of weakness and sickness and hurtled it through the forest towards Dorian. Dorian yelped and dodged out of the way then stumbled into where the two dragons were talking.
“Hey! Nice to meet you, I’m Dorian, you’re totally-not-capturer! Please follow me back to market easily and there will be no pain.” Said Dorian with total cool and NO nervousness at all. “HA! As if you would get away without any pain! Now, tell me, who sent you here? What did they promise you? I’m sure I could make a better offer if you’d like.” The Guardian replied with slyness in her voice. “I’m sure you’d be much better off with us. We could protect you and we would all get paid. So what do you say?” Dorian looked at her then considered her offer and then replied with a smug voice, “Sure, why not?”
