Intrigued and Infatuated
SilverSong


SilverSong doesn't have a set job in the clan.

One day, as SilverSong was out with his previous clanmates, he heard tell of a local celebrity coatl. At first, he paid no mind to the gossip being spread about her, but then he found out she was sickly, the same as him if not more so. From that point on, he made a promise to himself that he would find this coatl. What he would do when he did, well, he had no idea, but that didn't stop him. For days on end he wandered through Sornieth, making his way through all types of weather and meeting all types of dragons. Those who met him wondered how he ever survived. His frail frame at all times seemed ready to break, and yet he showed no worry.

One day, physically and mentally fatigued, he fell to the ground in front of either a massive skull or a small cliff-face, which one he wasn't sure. Mushrooms and various other decomposer plants grew around the entrance, all sickly looking and deadly. He fell asleep. When he awoke, he found himself somewhere dark, but otherwise comfortable, surrounded by all diffent types of dragons, all with a strange glint in their eye. A massive guardian stood in front of him, watching him with glowing red eyes. After a moment, she seemed to nod to herself and stepped away from him. Most of the other dragons fell suit, save a single drab coatl. In a daze, he whispered her name. "Parasite...."

SilverSong's story may as well have ended there, because from that point on, he and Parasite were inseparable. His life and her life were intertwined. It would be a mistake not to mention, though, that shortly after their meeting, a dark pearlcatcher joined their group and made it a perfect trio.
