671.png 		a very calm, kind, and pacifistic dragon. though a bit incoherent at times due to his archaic speech conventions, he is a good conversationalist and great at giving advice.

he is painfully honest and will tell any dragon whatever they ask of him. he is often mocked for the spiritual connection he confesses to having with nature; he spends a good chunk of his leisure time sitting at the base of trees and daydreaming. it keeps him grounded (no pun intended).

his compassion extends to all living creatures. he easily finds something to admire in everyone, which accounts for why he so easily identifies with the struggles of his fellow creature. he couldn't hope to hurt someone or something even if they endangered his own life. he's become the clan's therapist. with a listening ear and a will to help, he's nursed many dragons through troubled times.

he loves to communicate via touch as much as he does through words. chanan is extremely fond of hugs, but cuddling or even simple tail swishes are just as important in his eyes. occasionally, he'll stop in his tracks to latch onto a clan mate he feels needs some intimacy. he once spent a few minutes cradling dagny, to everyone's sheer horror, but she herself seemed at least more content than mortified.
