Adniel, a proud ridgeback who had "accidentally" came to birth.
His father did not care about his children, whereas his mother loved every single bit about him and his siblings.

He tried his best to have his father love him but his efforts were in vain. Adniel's frustration and anger boiled up over time and eventually led him to run away from his home, he blamed everything on his father. With his visions clouded by his anger, he disregarded the idea of how his mother would feel if he'd be gone.

He did not ever want to turn back to that place, life was unfair.
When Adniel was accepted into Erecius' Lair, he eventually, after a long, time began to realize that this should not have been the path he had chosen to walk.
He threw everything away, he no longer had his mother to love him.

The elders and the younger dragons, especially Valeraine, tries to cheer the saddened dragon up. They love him as family, but his regret for hurting his mother grows day by day.

Despite all of this, he will always act cool-headed and confident with anything.
