From Far Below The Gods,
Mystic Power Emerges.

From her place in the stars, a Constellation moved listlessly. Lonely in her existence and directionless in her being, she wandered aimless among the galaxies and stars in hopes of finding purpose to her existence.

Her only respite, a break from the isolation of her unseen and unacknowledged choreography, was when the daylight ebbed and faded and gave way to the deep inky hues of midnight and moonsong.

There, far below on the face of the planet, this constellation spied a wondrous sight- A Dragon made of stone, gazing up at her sky, watching her as she moved.

For the first time, she felt like her dances had been noticed. The way this creature watched, the sturdiness of his claws into the stone and the motionless duty of his purpose; he was stunning. For many moons and millennia, she danced in the sky above him in hopes he would be moved enough to waltz with her. Night became like the draw of a curtain, her dance became more a display of hope than an idle way to pass the time. She wanted nothing more than to be with him, to understand how one could be so grounded and serve such purpose. That maybe by being with him, she too could find the reason for the glimmer of her stars. Every night brought another performance and every morning another worry.

A nameless and forgotten God, powerful and benevolent, saw this constellation's plight and took pity on the soul trapped within the stars. It promised her that she would not be alone, that she had a purpose and that her dances were beautiful. She felt a warmth wash over her stars, a sense of belonging swelling in her chest. She uttered a relieved thanks to the God and then moved herself towards the planet below, dancing and spiraling in a display of happiness she had never felt before. She readied herself to finally meet the one that had brought a glimmer of hope to her years of nomadic loneliness.

There she saw him- beautiful as ever, flying towards her with such purpose.

She flew to him and found that he, too, had been wanting to dance; he had been watching and wishing he could move to tell her how beautiful he thought she was. There she stayed, locked in joyful dandle- ever thankful to that nameless God for the gift they'd given her.
