Born a sickly child, Seraphine had been sent away from a land of immense cold to find her health in the warmth of the light. However, her flight was cut short by a dangerous storm that damaged her wings nearly beyond repair. She was lucky enough to be found by roving scavengers off the coast of the Shifting Expanse who helped her regain some movement in her wings with a specialized harness. Though she would never fly again, Seraphine was determined to continue her trek, and eventually found her way to light where she picked up the art of healing. A fully fledged nurse, she now wanders the earth with an unusual pair of hunters, going from village to village to offer aid for those in need.
